I can work with businesses that are scaling, when there are more opportunities than the team can pursue at once. I like working closely with people who know the business, understanding the needs and deciding where the effort will be most useful.
Technical advice also means reducing complexity. We can look at what to keep building on, what to simplify and which technical choices support the direction you want to take.
I have experience building AI into products, user experiences and business processes. I can help you assess where it is useful, prioritise specific applications and work out a practical path from an idea to something people can use.
Consulting services
I can join your team as a fullstack developer or tech lead, contributing through hands-on development and technical direction. I enjoy staying close to the work and understanding how the software serves the business.
On longer assignments, I can provide technical leadership, act as a sounding board and help your own people build their skills. I share what I know through daily work, pair programming and discussions about solutions and priorities.
Courses and workshops
I enjoy sharing experience and ideas that help others improve their own work. Courses and workshops give us time to learn together, ask questions and work on things your team wants to understand better.
Topics can include AI in products and business processes, prompting, coding agents, and using skills and instructions in development. We agree on the subject and level around the people taking part.
Mentoring
I'm happy to mentor developers or technical leads who would like someone to think things through with. We can start with a specific challenge, a technical decision or finding your feet in a new role.
Mentoring can work the other way too. I'd like to meet people I can learn from and who can challenge how I think and work. We can find an arrangement that makes sense for both of us.
