I'm a tech lead and fullstack developer with experience building AI into products. I help businesses turn their needs into software that's straightforward to use and maintain.
My strength is understanding the business and seeing the whole solution, from priorities to a working product. I contribute through technical direction and hands-on development, working closely with the team and the people who know the business.
I enjoy helping others do good work, sharing what I know and questioning choices when there's a simpler way. For me, good collaboration means agreeing on a direction and making things work in practice.
Outside work
I enjoy travelling and getting a feel for new countries, trying food I haven't tasted before and seeing a little of everyday life in the places I visit.
I also enjoy skiing, home renovation and spending time on the house and garden. In the kitchen, I like challenging myself and trying new dishes.
Side project: Recipelogger
I have a personal project at recipelogger.com where my aim is to spend less time planning meals and shopping for groceries. I want to automate more of the work around my monthly grocery shop while collecting EuroBonus points for future trips.
I have been working on the project for three years. For the past two, I have left most of the coding to AI. One of my goals is to do all development from a mobile phone while maintaining high standards for quality, security and functionality.
I use the app weekly, and the project is my playground. Part of my ambition is to explore new technologies and learn what it takes to build products that many other people can use. That includes design patterns, multi-tenant architecture, AI architecture, how people use SaaS products and new business needs.
Most recently, I have been working on making the whole app accessible from Claude and OpenAI through an MCP server. The goal is for people without a technical background to connect and use the app easily.
I am also trying out how agents and skills can support work across an entire organisation, from tone of voice and design principles to writing, marketing and code. This gives me insight into work and decisions outside my usual role. That understanding matters to me: for a product to succeed, people in different roles need to contribute and work together.
